DS160PR810: what do the AC linearity and DC linearity mean?

Part Number: DS160PR810

Hi Expert,

May I know what do the AC linearity and DC linearity mean?

Do we have any material or precision lab video that can explain this problem?

BR,

Aaron Chen

  • Hi Aaron,

AC linearity means how much of the high frequency content of the signal we can pass through the device. While DC linearity means how much of the low frequency content of the signal can be passed through the device.

For AC linearity, we use 8GHz signal and keep increasing the signal level and check linearity.

For DC linearity, we use about 10MHz signal and keep increasing the signal level and again check for linearity.
