We are aware of SLVS-EC specification. Also, i reviewed the link you had sent us.

For SLVS, each channel can run close to 4.75Gbps or close to 5Gbps - PCIe Gen2. Suggestion is to consider using DS80PCI800. This device has high gain and can be operated in linear mode(RATE pin tied to GND through 20K Ohm). We can provide IBIS-AMI model of this device so customer can do signal integrity analyzes.
