TCAN1463-Q1: electrical characteristics

Part Number: TCAN1463-Q1

Dear Sir or Madam,

are there already electrical characteristics for this new CAN transceiver? Especially the power consumption for the different voltage levels Vsup, Vio and Wake would help a lot to implement the IC in a new design.

BR,

Kevin

  • Hi Kevin,

Yes, preliminary characteristics are available in the draft version of the device datasheet. Your local TI field applications engineer will be able to supply this draft datasheet to you. If you do not know who to contact for this, you can send me an email directly. You can find my contact info by clicking on my E2E name.

TCAN1463 is very similar to the existing and released TCAN1043A, with the primary difference being the CAN SIC functionality. This feature does not have a large impact on the power consumption when compared to non-SIC transceivers like the TCAN1043A, and the voltage ranges for these devices will be the same.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Regards,
    Eric Schott
