No, this is actually correct. 953 and 935 have the exact same reg map. There is no way to differentiate between the two in SW. The only method we could recommend is that during the schematic design phase, the customer could use the IDX pin to set a certain address for modules using 953 and then a different address for modules using 935. Then through SW the device I2C address can be read and the customer can know which device is populated
