DS90UB913Q-Q1: Extending the cable length

Hi Team,

I see on the datasheet that the device is recommended for 15m cable length.

Do we have other devices that have more reach?

Is there method to accomplish this? (potentially cascading multiple SerDes devices to extend the reach)

    Hey Fadi,

    Looking at the datasheet, it says it supports up to 25 m STP.

    Some serdes can be cascaded like you mentioned. It is not recommended with the DS90UB913/914 because the clock source will accumulate low frequency jitter over the hops. The DS90UBB95x devices could support this topology though because they use a local REFCLK to generate the forward channel.
