Hi Team
Good day, and hope this email finds you well.
I’m reaching out because my customer XINJE have an issue about our DP83822I.(The application is in HMI(human machine interface))Could you please help me about these issue?
1.The DP83822 is known to have the ability to drive ETHERCAT, and by reading the phy registers, it can be seen that the dp83822 is already in a 100 megabit full-duplex state (reg0 = 0x3100, reg1 = 0x786d)
They used the ethercat master to send an instruction every 2ms to read the data, but the slave (rx72m+dp83822) and to make any response to it, we could not determine whether the MCU side did not receive the data or whether there was a problem with the circuit near the DP83822. Is there any method that they can figure out is the problem caused by MCU or DP83822?
2.In DP83822I,RX_DV and TX_EN pins level high means that the reading and writing is valid. So can they determine the working state of the PHY by measuring the level of these two lines with a logic analyzer? For example RX_DV voltage level is high, indicating that the PHY is on the normal receive link of the data frame?
Thanks in advance for your help
Best Regards
