I receive a question from the customer.
If the PDB pin is set to Low while power is still supplied to the SerDes, are the register values reset to their initial values? Or are there any conditions under which register values are reset when power is supplied? It seems that registers may be reset when power is supplied.

Yes, registers will reset to "default" values listed in datasheet after a PDB reset or initial power-up.
Reset command will also reset registers.

I'm not sure it is explicitly stated in the datasheet. Standby mode will retain registers, but PDB will reset back to default since it is equivalent to re-powering on.
