DS90UB936-Q1: Camera synchronisation issues

Hello,

in our design we have setup with DS90UB936 and DS90UB935. Connection is over coaxial cable, with PoC.

Both devices are set to CSI-2 Synchronous mode - DS90UB935 MODE=0, DS90UB936 MODE=4.

Link is established properly between devices and video stream is working fine, but from time to time it is loosing frame synchronisation.

Does someone maybe observed similar problem ?

Is that something what could be causes on serializer/deserializer ?

I would appreciate any hint allowing us to find root cause of the issue.

Hello Arkadiusz,

Are you using just one camera or two? What is the resolution/data type/ frame rate?

Have you checked the registers for any reported error? If not, can you provide a register dump from SER and from DES before the error and after the error?

Did you monitor LOCK pin if stable or toggling during the flicker?

What about power supply noise?

we are using single camera, this type exactly:

It is 1080p@30

I will do some more testing and check registers for any reported errors, and also power supply noise.
