This is an article about repeater operation by back-to-back connection of two DP8367E SGMII EVMs.
I'd like to see if the repeater works by actually configuring it like this. May I ask you a question?
Also, if repeater operation is possible, would you please tell me if there are restrictions such as settings? According to the article, there is a statement that auto-negotiation must be prohibited.

Hi Toshikazu,

Yes, 867 can support back to back connection using SGMII. Forcing the speed to the required mode on MDI side and soft rest should works for the back to back SGMII connection.

The speed is fixed and the software is reset by the setting by MDI.
