Hi,

          We are doing a power over RS485 application with SN65HVD1786P , Please share the TINA simulation files mentioned in application note(TIDA-010035). as we are having issues getting the right TINA model for driver IC as well as transmission cable.

 

Also if you have a PSPICE for TI design file on the same it would be helpful as well.

    Hi Sajul,

    We don't have the TINA schematic file - I am unsure if it was ever a stand-alone file that we uploaded. We have since moved away from TINA  and are using Pspice now. 

    However we do have the PSpice model of the part (should be identical to the TINA model as they both would use the same .lib file as a base for the model (PSPICE typically just has more files associated with it - but the base model should be the same) You should be able to generate the model for TINA use cases.

    There are a few test set-ups included in the reference guide - with instructions how to run the simulation (section 2.5) . If you wish to use the cable-model that is used in the one of the simulation files shown in the user guide please refer to section 2.5.2 on how to create the cable model.
