ESDS302: Unidirectional / Bidirectional

Hi,

Good Day.

Customer is trying to find out if it is a bidirectional or unidirectional part. In the data sheet it makes reference to both.

Page 1 is where it makes reference to bidirectional and page 8 is where it mentions unidirectional.

Could he use the ESDS302 as a bidirectional part if instead I connected the ground to the I/O2?

    To answer your question, ESDS302 is unidirectional. 

         Thanks for pointing out the typo on page 1 of the datasheet.

    Would you be able to share more details on your specifications?

    We will be happy to recommend a bi-directional alternative.
