Hi,

I am looking for pin-pin compatible alternate parts for SN65HVD230D, 3.3v CAN bus Transceiver.  DO you have any recommendations?


Also, can you help me to understand the significance of the "Q" between the SN65HVD230D and SN65HVD230QD?

    Alexander,

    The closest pin to pin option we have would be the TCAN337 or TCAN337G. It will heavily depend on how the customer is using pins 5 and 8 on the SN65HVD230. 

    The difference between the Q and non-Q is AECQ100 compliance. The Q-version is qualified for automotive applications, while the non-Q device is not.
