HD3SS3412A: USB C Custom SFP Alt Mode

I am testing a design for a USB C to USB 3 and SFP break out board. In an attempt to build a custom USB C alt mode mux for USB 3 and SFP I used two HD3SS3412A ICs back to back. (Side note: this was due to the lack of any 10Gbps multi protocol alt mode mux as far as I could find.) For now I'm just trying to get the USB portion working and ignoring the SFP part. So far I'm unable to successfully pass the superspeed signals (USB 2 is ok since it's just a passthrough). I'm wondering if it's most likely that my signal integrity is lacking, and I need to insert a redriver somewhere, or if there are some other issues. I don't have the necessary scope for measuring the ss signals so I can't directly measure them but I can verify that the mux is switching properly with a flip signal from the PD phy.

Note that the USB 3 signals are crossed over on this board to account for the incoming USB C cable's crossover. I can provide more detailed schematics if necessary.
