DP83867CR: Interface option in 100BASE-TX case

Hello team,

My customer has a question.

When DP83867CRRGZ and Ether MAC in Soc cannot link up with 1000Base-T after Auto-Negotiation, The customer thinks that DP83867CR try to do Auto-Negotiation with 100BASE-TX.
In this 100BASE-TX.case, what is the interface option to communicate between MAC and DP83867CR ? MII or GMII?

Hi Akihisa,

I am having trouble understanding the issue. Is the PHY not linking up with the link partner? How are you determining link status?

The DP83867 has MII, GMII and RGMII MAC interface options.

I know that the DP83867 has MII, GMII for 100M ethernet.

The customer do not have question yet, because they checked spec and did not start evaluation.
When they check the behavior of DP83867, they may have a question. Then let you know about it.
