DS92LV0421: differences between DS92LV041(2) and DS90UB927(8)Q-Q1

Part Number: DS92LV0421

Hi Team,

I fould that the same signal meeting IC transmission format can transport well via  DS92LV041(2), while DS90UB927(8)Q-Q1 can not transport the signal.

Could you please help by explaining the differences between DS92LV041(2) and DS90UB927(8)Q-Q1?

Best Regards,

Don

  • Hi Don,

FPD-Link and Channel-Link are very similar, but for different industry spaces. FPD-Link III parts are manufactured and tested for automotive grade specs, and Channel-Link is optimized for industrial applications. It means they have different design specs even the PCLKs are similar coverage. One of the differences I found is that DS92LV042x is composed of 24 bits of data and 3 control signals, but DS90UB92xQ is composed of a 35-bit frame.
