TUSB216-Q1: SCL/SDA Internal PULLUP/PULLDOWN Value For I2C mode

Part Number: TUSB216-Q1

Dear Team,

1. We'd like to clarify the TUSB216-Q1 SCL1/SDA1internal PU/PD value.

Please help to confirm if below cognition is right ?

I2C mode (default)
SCL1: 500K ohm PD
SDA1: 500K ohm PU

Non I2C mode (default)
CD: 500K ohm PD
SDA1: 1.8M ohm PD

2.IF SDA1/SCL1 both don't use that means PIN3 & PIN4 without connection on schematic for use case,
is that still normal for application ?

Thank you.
  • Hi Daniel,

    1. Yes, those values should be correct.

    2. If you do not intend on using I2C, yes, you can leave those pins floating, as shown in the schematic in section 8.2 of the datasheet.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
