DS92LV0422: TXCLKOUT± signal has different offset voltage.

Part Number: DS92LV0422

Hi Team,

I am using 421&422 doing a system validation. and I found that 422 CLKOUT± has different offset voltage. CLKOUT+ has 1.2V offset, while CLKOUT- has no offset voltage and its amplitude is very high. Thus, leading to a mistake for the display.

CLKOUT± signal is as follows:

Could you please kindly help answer the question why 422 CLKOUT± has different offset voltage and CLKOUT-'s amplitude is so high?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Doncheng

  • Hi Doncheng,

Thank you for your question! I am looking into why 422 CLKOUT± has different offset voltage and CLKOUT-'s amplitude is so high and will get back to you soon.

    Respectfully,

    William Y.

  • Hi William,

    Looking forward to your reply.

And I'd like to ask you one more question:

I found that 421&422 can work well in 32.5MHz PCLK, while in 48MHz or higher PCLK 421&422 cannot correctly transport the video data.Data transmission in 48MHz PCLK is as follows (yellow line is 421's video input and green line is 422's data output):

Please help by answering why 421&422 cannot work in higher than 32.5MHz PCLK application.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,

    Doncheng

  • Hi Doncheng,

Are you seeing this in a particular 421/422? Are you seeing this other devices? What's the frequency of this issue? Have you done an AB Swap.

Do you have schematics that I can review?

421 and 422 can work between 10 to 75 MHz range, it can work higher than 32.5 MHz PCLK application.

What are the register settings on this device?

    Respectfully,

    William Y.
