Hi Expert:

We are testing DP83848Q-Q1 read PHY identifier register #2 (address 0x03h) = 5c90 , but datasheet show =5Ca2 different with test result.

we check IC top marking is DP83848QSQ that is the DP83848Q-Q1 series PN. after that

we Back to check the register value 5C90 the relative PN is DP83848-EP , not Automotive grade part. I attached the issue slide and the schematic , could you please help check why register value different with the relative PN? thank you.

Hi Roy,

This is strange, I saw that you attached an image of the Top Marking of the PHY in the pdf.

Could you provide me with what the markings say exactly? It is difficult to read from the picture.
