DS90UR910-Q1: Can it output CSI with YUV as datatype?

Our downstream IC requires CSI input with YUV datatype. The data sheet only mentions RGB888. Is there a way to output CSI with YUV datatype like UB940? If not directly, can add another IC or use an alternative IC?

The DS90UR910 is fixed for RGB888 datatype output.

Right now, we need to use both DS90UR241 and DS90UR905. Do you have recommendations on how to deserilize and output CSI YUV signal?

Wei,

DS90UR910-Q1 does not have any configuration to make it output packets with YUV data types. There is no direct solution we have for such a conversion if the SER is DS90UR241. The only thing I would think to suggest would be to use an FPGA or processor device to receive the RGB888 CSI-2 data from 910 and then send out of a second CSI-2 port with YUV format. Or they could uprev the serializer side to DS90UB925-Q1 so that they can connect to DS90UB940-Q1

We are considering deserilizing as openLDI and then converting to CSI YUV signal. Can ds90ub924 be use with ur241 and ur905? What if you recommend for openLDI to csi yuv conversion?

No, in order to achieve this you would need to do what Casey had mentioned below. This will allow OLDI->925->940->CSI-2.
