my customer now have an application scenario. The normal input voltage of the SN74LVC1G126 buffer is 3.3V (the max voltage on the datasheet is 6.5V), but the hot-swap device is connected to the front. The TVS of TPD1E01B04 is connected in parallel to the input pin (the specification is as follows), VBR=6.4V, Vc=7V @Ipp=1A in the specification, is this TVS placed here unable to protect the SN74LVC1G126? Is there any other scheme to protect SN74LVC1G126?
