ESD2CAN24-Q1: CAN ESD diode for 24V battery system ?

I’m wondering if ESD2CAN24-Q1 is suitable for the CAN transceiver in 24V battery system. Could you please confirm it?

If it’s not available, can you recommend a solution?

Hi Sam,

Unfortunately the ESD2CAN24-Q1 is designed for protecting a CAN transceiver in a 12 V battery system. In the case of a 24 V battery that consists of two 12 V cells, a 36 V diode is needed since the cells are charged individually. We don't currently have a solution for this.

I came across this thread and wanted to provide an update on this. We have recently released our ESD2CAN36-Q1 and ESD2CANFD36-Q1 devices, which would be suitable for the application described here.
