Hello,

My customer would like to change the cross-point switch during operation by changing MUXSEL from 0 to 1 with channel A Reg_0x07[5] = channel B Reg_0x07[5] = 0 as follows.

Q1:
How much time does it take for the cross-point switch to change the output state from MUXSEL change?
Please tell my customer min, typ and max value over all PVT variations.

Q2:
Datasheet states Input-to-output latency tD is 100ps typical for both “no cross-point” and “crosspoint enabled”.
How much could the minimum and maximum tD over all PVT variations?

Q3:
No tD differences between “Ingress use case” and “egress use case”?

Hi Hirano-san,

Apologies for the delay. Regarding ingress vs egress, there would not be any tD differences since this would involve using the same channels on the device. This device is unidirectional, so ingress vs egress application just depends on its position in the signal chain.

Regarding time to switch after MUXSEL change, this is on the order of ~100ns. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate any characterization data for this over PVT.

I also could not locate any characterization data for min/max propagation delay over PVT.
