TUSB8020B: USB2.0 compliance test at Linux

Part Number: TUSB8020B

Hello,

My customer has a question related the following E2E thread.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1159428/tusb8020b-compliance-mode?keyMatch=TUSB8020B

The E2E thread explained about “Linux Tool for downstream port USB3.1 TX Compliance Test Mode Entry”.
But, my customer would like to test TUSB8020B for USB2.0, not USB3.0, at Linux environment.
How they can do that?

Best regards,

K.Hirano

The USB host will need to generate the commands described in the USB 2.0 specification that force the hub to send test packets on the downstream ports. Many Linux builds support this, can you check if yours does support it?

    Thanks
