DP83822H: Using the DP83822HRHBT above recommended operating condition

Reaching out about the use of this 1V8 supply voltage variant of the unit above the recommended operating condition [1.71V, 1.89V], but below the max input voltage. Seeing if there is an increase in false carrier or link drops expected at input voltages of 1V-2V. Couldn't find anything in the datasheet stating what condition this puts this IC in?

We may not be able to determine the condition of signal quality/state of PHY if condition exceeds the recommended conditions.

Darn yeah expected there was no further data on that. Seeing false carriers and dropped links in ~0.25usec transients of [0.5V, 2V] wanted to see if there was internal diagrams of the IC that help explain the dropouts

Hi Adam,

It is difficult to point out the root cause as the device was never simulated or tested under these conditions. Trying to infer the root cause of failure from a block diagram will be very tricky as all the lower level modules to which 1V8 supply voltage is connected to (connected to almost every module) can cause a problem.
