Good day. Seeking your assistance on this query, posted on behalf of the customer about DP83867ISRGZR:
I have 2 PHY ic s in my system, one is up. Second one has a problem. Processor is able to detect the PHY, by reading 0XA231 at 3rd register. But not able to get the Link ready. When I read MBSR register (0x0001) I am getting 0x7949 instead of 0x796d. Indicating auto negotiation is not complete.
When i checked BMCR register it reads 0X1140(expected value).
I tried sw reset by giving 0x8000 to 0X1F register and still the problem remains.
But there is no issue with first PHY. Both sections are same (Hardware, sch and bom wise).
