PCA9534A: Two packages assigned to VQFN 3x3mm: RGT0016A and RGT0016C in datasheet

Hi,

For VQFN 3x3mm package there are two drawings (RGT0016A and RGT0016C) in datasheet which have different exposed thermal pad size. I couldn't find any information on which is correct or related to part number. I would probably choose larger one to fit both but it is not exactly as it should be done. Does anyone has information on which package/footprint is correct?

Both are correct; there are two manufacturing sites using different lead frames. You cannot choose when ordering, and might even get both in the same reel.

You have to use a footprint that can handle both pads.
