I'm Yordan Nachev, system engineer responsible for ethernet networking from Visteon Electronics Bulgaria.
Visteon will be using the DP83TC814S-Q1 autmomotive ethernet tranceiver for one of our new products.
I'm interested in how the Signal Quality Indicator (SQI) for this transceiver was set or to be more precise at which SQI level a Bit Error Rate (BER)<10^-10 is achieved?
I suggest that (BER)<10^-10 is achieved at SQI 3, as stated in the Open Alliance Specification '100BASE-T1 Advanced Diagnostic PHY features'.
