TSER953: EMC & EMI differences when moving from FPD-Link III to V3Link

Team,

when moving from FPD-Link III (DS90UB953/DS90UB954) to V3Link (TSER953/TDES954), is it necessary to do new EMI/EMC measurements and qualification?

Given all external components, PCB and cable stay the same, only the ICs are changed.

The assumption is, that FPD-Link III and V3Link are incompatible to each other and so there needs to be a technical difference of some kind.
The datasheet, however, does not show any difference.

No additional testing is needed besides the customer’s own internal qualifying process for new parts. The technical difference is that FPD-Link devices have more stringent production/testing processes meant for automotive applications, which is completely different from the process used for V3Link devices.
