TUSB8041: USB stick power difference casued by different stick inserted

Part Number: TUSB8041

Hi,

We are using TUSB8041 for connection up to 4 USB 3.0 stick.  We found that the USB stick power can vary, depends on the total stick qty connected:  when 3 or 4 stick connected to hub, one stick power is 1.3W, when 1 or 2 stick connected, one stick power is 2.2W.

During the experiment, the USB stick are like in "idle", there is no data transaction declared by our software engineer, the 4 USB stick are same brand model, they connected to hub via 4 USB3.0 type A connector.

Do you expect the stick's power we measured is in normal range? Do you know why there is 0.9W difference when different device qty connected?

Thanks
