Hi Statham,

Please see the E2E post linked below for the story on this. In short, these devices are now equivalent. The "HVDA" device was released in the time it took for a PCN to go through on the "HVD" devices. Since the PCN has now been done, these devices are essentially the same.

If you are considering transceivers for a new design, I would recommend the much newer TCAN1044A family of devices. These transceivers will offer better performance, capacity, and cost structure than the older "SN" transceiver part numbers.
