HVDA551-Q1: HVDA551-Q1: Output differential voltage abnormal

Hi team,

when customer test HVDA551, they found CANH and CANL is abnormal, have a small voltage anomalies.

Could you please help analyze why this phenomenon occurs based on the following information.

Point-to-point communication, only two HVDA551 in system.

Hi Hangjie,

The elevated differential voltage during the ACK bit is normal. During this period, multiple CAN transceivers may be driving the bus to a dominant state at the same time. The combined drive strengths of the transceivers results in a larger differential on the CAN bus and is perfectly normal for the ACK and Arbitration phases of CAN communicate.
