DP83869HM: SGMII to RGMII bridge mode settings

These are the correct strap settings to set PHY into SGMII to RGMII bridge. What do you mean setting did not work properly?

Thanks for your reply.

When the customer checked bit 6 of the register below, it read as 0. If the setting is normal, it should be 0x43.

When they connected the RX_CTL pin to GND, 0x43 was read.

Please tell us exactly how to setup SGMII to RGMII bridge mode.

I can't understand your explanation. The strap settings for SGMII to RGMII bridge mode are shown in the table below. RX_CTRL should be a pull-up.

According to the table settings below, is it correct that the SGMII to RGMII bridge mode should be set?

The customer checked the registers according to RX_CTRL PU/PD status.

1. PHY address is 6 and RX_CTRL is pull down

2. PHY address is 7 and RX_CTRL is pull up

Which of 1 and 2 is the SGMII to RGMII bridge mode set correctly?

Is it correct that RX_CTRL is ignored?
