Hello team -

TI sent EOL notice for the MAX3223 and recommended the MAX3223E as a pin to pin replacement. Can you tell us what the differences are between MAX3223IPW and MAX3223EIPW. We are especially interested in any electrical performance differences

They appear to be identical, except for the ESD rating.

Hi Alex,

Clemens is correct here. The only difference between MAX3223 and MAX3223E is the added ESD protection present in the "E" version of the device.

MAX3223 supports +/-15kV HBM ESD protection.

MAX3223E supports HBM, air gap, and contact discharge on both driver outputs and receiver inputs.
