Hi TI Team,

 

We have an query on ethernet PHY, in the legacy design we have PHY TLK100 design supporting 10baseT/100baseTX.

 

We had used it as MII interface, output connected to external coupling transformer HX1188NL & RJ-45 connector .Which is part of our daughter card.

 

We had planned to use DP83822, which supports 10baseTe & 100baseTx & PHY supports MII,RGMII,RMII. As we understood AM623 processor is supporting only RGMII,RMII. We have planned to use RGMII interface 10/100 Mbps.

 

So, please  do let us know, do you forsee any concern specifically on 10baseTe vs 10baseT in TLK100 or do you suggest any equivalent PHY.
