SN65LVDM176: Replacing MLVDS drivers that are too slow

Hello,


we currently use MLVDS drivers for communication between numerous peripherals (16) and a central system.
The choice of MLVDS may not be the best one, as we're content with HALF DUPLEX between master and slave.


We have 2xSN65MLVD206BD in the device, and 2xSN65MLVD082 + 2xSN65MLVD128 (unidirectional line for now) in the master.
We are limited in throughput and are looking for a better solution.


I like the SN65LVDM176, but it's going to be tricky to fit 32 of them on the master.
