Hi,

We are looking for driver code on the SPI side of the chip. You can assume the SPI interface of the TI micro-controller. If the said code demonstrates CAN Rx and Tx on the SPI side that would be great

Hi Mayank,

The TCAN4551-Q is a reduced feature variant of the TCAN4550-Q1 and the TCAN4550 Demo Software is compatible with the TCAN4551-Q1. You can download this demo software from the TCAN4550-Q1 product folder, or from this link.

This demo code was developed using the MSP430FR6989 MCU and will directly run on the MSP-EXP430FR6989 LaunchPad. If you plan on using a different MCU and development board, you may need to adjust the SPI and GPIO hardware function to match the hardware requirements for your MCU of choice.

The BOOSTXL-CAFD-LIN BoosterPack was developed to mate directly with the MSP-EXP430FR6989 LaunchPad and uses the TCAN4550-Q1 IC and could be replaced with the TCAN4551-Q1.
