DS160PR410: Is it possible to use USB Interface Adapter instead of USB2ANY to configure the DS160PR410

Part Number: DS160PR410
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

Hi team,

USB2ANY is mentioned in the DS160PR410 EVM User's Guide, must the DS160PR410 be configured with USB2ANY? Can I use TI's USB Interface Adapter to configure the DS160PR410?

What is the difference between USB2ANY and USB Interface Adapter, can they be replaced by a software upgrade?

Best Regards,

Amy Luo

  • Hi Amy,

Using USB2ANY enables you to use DS160PR410 GUI to configure the device.

You can use any I2C controller to change different register settigs. Using USB2ANY enables you to have a graphic interface to control the device.

    Regards, Nasser
