DP83TC814R-Q1: XI pin performance specification

May I ask why did you need Ccomp for?

We do have specification on Crystal and Oscillator in the datasheet. Are those information helpful to you?

Hi Hillman,

Our customer plan to use Sitara as pair of this device.
And clock source of PHY will be this Sitara(WKUP_CLKOUT0).

Therefore, they'd like to do SI simulation so required to IBIS model.
But there isn't necessary information in IBIS model an we are requiring to provide those informations(at least Ccomp).

So, Crystal and Oscillator information won't help us.

Could you provide required information?

They are requiring us to issue target schedule when we can provide this parameter.

Sorry for the late reply. I check with the design team and validation team internally. We don't have the Ccomp information of XI pin in IBIS model.

Hi Hillman,

As we explained, this phy will be used with our Sitara SoC.
Sitara SoC require us to do SI simulation so we are requesting you  to issue the parameter at least Ccomp.

At this moment, you said there isn't Ccomp value but could you estimate Ccomp value?
We are not guarantee for those requirement but we need to show any value to use phy along with our Sitara SoC.
