Hi expert,

Is the nFault pin of TCAN1463-Q1 open drain output?  Do I need to pull it up externally?

    Hi Link,

    The nFAULT pin is a push-pull output. An external biasing resistor will help the signal remain in a known state when the transceiver is unpowered and nFAULT is floating, but this is not necessary for normal functionality when the device is active.
