DS90C385A: Question about internal pull down resistor of input pins.

Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using DS90C385A for their new products.

At this moment, they have the following question.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
DS90C385A has TxIN (28 pin counts) as data/control input pins.
Are these input pins pulled down internally by internal resistors?

Q2.
If Q1 answer is yes, can each input pin be left open when the pin is not used?

Hi Kazuya,

Right now, I am not sure if the input TxIN pins are pull-down. If some of the TxIN input pins are unused, we recommend connecting them to GND.

The following thread says that you will need to leave the unused RGB lanes as no connect.

Hi Kazuya,

I think Gil suggested to leave it floating since it will not be used. But from what I've seen in other threads, it's better to connect them to ground if the TxIN pins are not used.
