TCA9539-Q1: INT pull up voltage

Part Number: TCA9539-Q1

Dear expert,

Can customer use 3.3V for VCC but pull up /INT to 1.8V through a 10Kohm resistor?

Thanks

  • Ryan,

This is electrically okay. Sine this is an open-drain output from the device, the TCA9539-Q1 will be agnostic to the actual state of the output. As long as your microcontroller can read this voltage level (or as long as it meets your application needs), it is okay to have the /INT pin pull up to 1.8 V.

    Best,

    Danny
