Hi Expert,

Customer is evaluating to use below two device to transfer the data between two lighting boards. If use 10MHZ clock, how long the external cable distance DS90LT012AQ and DS90LV011AQ can support?

LVDS Differential Line Receiver : DS90LT012AQ

LVDS Differential Line Driver ： DS90LV011AQ

Hello Ethan,

The longer the cable length, the more jitter it will add to your system. With increased jitter, your system may not be able to distinguish between a high or low bit. Please refer to the app note below for additional information.

How Far, How Fast Can You Operate LVDS Drivers and Receivers?

Given the frequency is 10 MHz, it's safe to assume the cable length can be >10 meters with not performance issues.
