DS90LV032AQML-SP: -MLS MANUFACTURING FLOW (DS90LV032AW-MLS(

Part Number: DS90LV032AQML-SP

Hi

Being DS90LV032AQML-SP not full QML V qualified but manufactured as DS90LV032AW-MLS against MLS TI flow

Could you plesae be so kind as to share the -MLS manufacturing flow?

Is ther any periodic QCI/qualification on this component?

Thanks and regards

Manuel

  • Manuel,

Please pardon our delay during the holiday. One of our experts should be able to get back to you mid next week after our return.

    Happy New Year!

  • Hello Manuel,

The 'MLS' designates that this device is processed to space-grade but is not on an actual SMD from the Defense Logistics Agency. In this case, DS90LV032AW-MLS follows MIL-PRF-38535 Groups A, B, C, and D (this device is non-RHA and therefore does not have Group E testing).

There is QCI / PCR data available for this device as well.

    Thank you,

    Shannon Lippincott

  • Dear Shannon

    Many thanks for the info

Could you please be so kind as to share the TI document which includes/details the -MLS manufacturing flow?

Thanks in advance for your help

    With my best regards

    Manuel Padial

  • Hi Manuel,

'MLS' devices exactly follow the MIL-PRF-38535 specification. These devices fully follow the QML-V flow of MIL-PRF-38535 but cannot be on an SMD due to some technicality. In this particular case for DS90LV032AW-MLS the wafer fab is TSMC, which is not qualified to MIL-PRF-38535 by the Defense Logistics Agency for QML products. Other than the caveat of the wafer fab not being qualified by the DLA, this device follows the 38535 standard exactly. I don't have any TI-official documents, but hopefully this helps.

    Thank you,

    Shannon Lippincott
