Hello team,

Customer get following inquiry:

We would like to inquire about some issues with SI simulation of TUSB8041 component.

For USB 3.2gen1 eye diagram simulation, and how to add the IBIS model of TUSB8041 component to simulation topology is shown in the following figure

Please provide us with topology structure built by SI simulation tools, and also introduce the functions of each part of the topology structure.

Also, is there IBIS AMI model for TUSB8041 component.

Could you help comments?

Hi Will,

The only model we have available is the IBIS model for the TUSB8044. TUSB8044 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

We also don't have an example simulation available.

Is there a signal integrity concern for the customer design? Like all hubs, The TUSB8041 should conform to the USB specification and pass compliance. I wouldn't expect a simulation to be necessary.
