Hi Expert,

Could our device pass Pulse 5b?

From the datasheet figure 6-1, It seems that our device cannot meet the requirement.

Hi Imelda,

You are correct, TI's current ESD portfolio cannot withstand that pulse. It required a surge current rating of 500A AND to clamp at/below 50V.

Are you able to provide a competitor device that the customer is using to pass this test?
