DS90UB960-Q1: DS90UB953A-Q1 Change Strap Configuration Mode 2 to mode 3

Hi team,

The DS90UB960-Q1 is paired with the DS90UB953A. When Mode2 is changed to Mode3, bandwidth is actually used at 1.2Gbps, what needs to be modified for DS90UB960-Q1?

    Hello Amy.

    for the 960, both 953 modes are the same. So, you do not need to make any changes on the 960.

    Hi Hamzeh,

    The reality is that we don't make any changes to the 960, and there is no video output at the moment.

    The 954 has been debugged before, but 954 needs to be modified by software before it can be output. Is the 954 and 960 different?

    Hello Amy,

    To which 960 RX port is the 953 connected?

    Are you switching from Mode #2 to #3 or the opposite?

    Are you making any register changes on the 953 when you are making this switch? You need to make some changes in reg 0x05

    can you provide register dump from the connected RX port ?

    Also, you need to be aware that when switching from External CLK to AON CLK mode, the 953 CLKOUT will stop outputting clock to the image sensor.
