DP83848H: cable recommendation

Part Number: DP83848H

In our design we have DP83848H PHY transceiver which is communicating with MCU.  RJ45 is placed on one PCB while PHY transceiver is placed on another PCB.

So basically differential pairs TD+/- & RD+/- needs to be connected from J3 to another PCB.

We need to have our connections from J3 to another PCB through wires (As we have very less space so board to board connector is not feasible also both PCB’s are in 90˚ angle)

  1. What kind of PCB to PCB wires we need to consider?
  2. Impedance controlled FFC cable can be used?
  3. Or we need twisted pair wires in between PCB’s?  Distance between both PCB is 6cm with 90˚ angle
  4. If we can use cables, do we need any terminations on either/both PCB’s?
