Hi Brian,

What do you mean by automotive solution for DP83867? Do you mean a single pair, Q-grade Ethernet PHY that supports 10/100/1000 Mbps?

Unfortunately, all of the single pair Ethernet PHYs in our current portfolio only support a single speed (1000Base-T1 or 100Base-T1).

We also have the DP83848Q, which is a Q grade 10/100Mbps PHY but it is not single pair.

May I ask what is the end equipment and use case for having a PHY that supports multiple speeds in a vehicle? Most of the applications I've worked with only use one, so understanding this use case would be useful for our market research.

Hi Brian,

If customer is looking for automotive, are they looking at 1000Base-T1 solutions? If so, DP83TG720 would be the suitable replacement.

this is Lidar application. they still in survey status now. so the spec maybe will change in the future.
