DP83867CR: Regarding LED pins

Part Number: DP83867CR

Hello team,

I have several questions.

1. Which pin is related to GPIO LED_3?
    I could only find LED_0, LED_1 and LED_2.

2. Datahseet says that RXD7 can be configured as LED pin. Is this correct?
It seems like RXD7 should be used for recieving data.

3. Is there any data for max drive strength or minimum load for push pull driver of LED_0~2?
I want to drive LEDs directly from those pins like below. Is those resistor value okay?

Best Regards,
Kei Kuwahara

  • Hi Kuwahara-san,

    1) It appears that LED_3 is more of a function than a pin. You can see in Reg 0x172 that this functionality can be assigned to multiple GPIOs.

    2) Yes, please see Reg 0x171. This is application dependent. RX_D7 is typically used for GMII purposes.

    3) There isn't this information readily available. However, these values should be fine. 2.49k is pretty large for a current limiting resistor, but this is typically tunable for the LED brightness as needed.

    Sincerely,

    Gerome

  • Hi Gerome-san,

    Thank you for the answer!
