hi, Can UB940 convert RGB888 to YUV422 ? I see that the datasheet indicates that only RGB444 is supported？

Hi Zhu,

In HDMI terminology, RGB444 actually refers to the YCrCb subsampling which can still be RGB888. So, yes the UB940 can convert it to YUV422_8. Which serializer are you pairing this with?

We Use DSI-> RGB888---->DS90UB681------FPD link III-------DS90UB940------YUV420 ->CSI. Can such a link be realized?

Hi Zhu,

Yes this should be supported by the system. The 940 can set the CSI-2 output to the formats listed in datasheet Table 9.
